It’s located 25km southwest to the Bogotá Sabana. Separated between centers approximately 25km between the coordinates with respect to the Greenwich meridian. The territory covers the old Sibaté Hacienda, and a part of the Tequendama Hacienda. The area of the territory is 125.6 km2, or 12,560 hectares. Sibaté is between 2,574 and 3,300 meters above sea level and the average temperature is 57.2ºF.
