Travel through the nature that Ciudad Bolívar offers you, by bike
Bogotá has one of the best bike-tours, 11.6 km long, in peaks and valleys crossings, pedaling through the rural areas of Ciudad Bolívar, a special tour that allows you to fully connect with nature.
The starting point is Mochuelo Alto neighborhood, later you reach the village of Pasquilla, a beautiful place that has an extension of 45.8 km, and has an important area of moorland with significant water resources.
To sign up for this cycling route is to know that in addition to the exuberant nature, you can find historical places such as María Madre de la Iglesia parish, built in 1945 and special places to enjoy typical dishes such as ajiaco, chicken broth and Boyacense stew, cooked in wood by the exceptional hands of the local matrons.
Continuing with the route, you will find the Pasquillita path and finally the Santa Bárbara path, the place where La Regadera Reservoir is located, built in 1938, and where the three rivers are joined: Mugroso, Chisacá and Tunjuelo, which are born in the Natural Lagoon of the Tunjos.
At the end of the tour, and after having crossed a rural area, you reach 3,026 meters above sea level, the best place to enjoy the scenery and the sound of nature, which come together to give you one of the best moments of your life.
