Cycling through the Sisga and Tominé Reservoirs, a unique experience
If you join the brotherhood of BiciTravsias lovers, you can begin this route through the northern area of Bogotá, making the first stop at the Sisga Reservoir, located in the municipality of Chocontá, 55 km from the capital, with an average temperature of 59º F.
In this paradise you can enjoy the diversity of its flora and fauna and see the cypress tree and the pátula pine, representative species of the Colombia moorland.
Then continue along the route to Sesquilé, until reaching an average altitude of 2,595 ASL, to arrive at the Tominé Reservoir, with stretches of moderate difficulty and a height of 2,960 ASL, a place of imposing beauty, where you can enjoy different water sports and of course the pleasant walks around it.
The tour takes you to Guatavita, with a distance of 3.2 km approx., a magical place where the colonial mixes with the mountains, the viewpoints and the beautiful lagoons.
